This position will work a hybrid schedule which includes a combination of working both onsite in La Jolla and remote. The Business Intelligence Analyst supports units by monitoring performance metrics, interpreting dashboards, preparing reports, and recommending continuous improvement opportunities. Helps with evaluation of organizational programs and initiatives by developing performance measurement frameworks, analyzing outcomes, assessing organizational impact, and presenting evidence-based recommendations that inform strategic planning, continuous improvement, and executive decision-making. Technical Support: implements data validation, quality checks, and monitoring processes to ensure data integrity and accuracy; support measurement of outcomes across Units and programs; expertise in data visualization (e.g. Tableau); assists with presentations and reports for leadership; assists with creation and maintenance of technical documentation (SOPs); provides admin support for Units (e.g. Monday.com); recommends and implements process improvements based on data insights and system usage patterns; and establishes and tracks KPIs and performance metrics for programs and systems. Operational Support: develops SOPs for user training and support; gathers requirements for system/process improvements; and provides project management and other support as needed. Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $90,600 - $166,400 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $43.39 - $79.69 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable). | |
