Description of Job Duties:
Completes daily work assignments in line with all company procedures and safety policies while maintaining a safe work environment for all personnel.
Performs safety equipment and equipment inspections per procedures as well as performs minor maintenance work as needed.
Promotes ideas and engages in safety, quality, and efficiency improvement initiatives.
Performs all production tasks per the specifications and work schedule with a high degree of accuracy and pace needed to ensure quality and on-time shipments are met.
Completes all documentation and records in an accurate, neat, and orderly fashion following good documentation practices.
Proper completion of productivity trackers and shift-pass down communications.
Perform and document product and in-process analysis as required.
Maintains and promotes 5S in assigned work area and on the grounds.
Completes Avante, CRM, and other system entries accurately and timely.
Troubleshoot equipment, process, and other issues to complete production tasks on schedule.
Performs all other tasks as assigned.
Update work instructions and procedures.
Member of the emergency response team.
Qualifications / Necessary Skills:
Relevant Associates degree preferred or a High School Diploma or equivalent with strong mechanical aptitude and 2-years relevant work experience.
Must have strong math and computer skills with strong written and verbal skills.
Capability to operate fork-lift.
Problem solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot a variety of issues and complete root cause analysis
Strong team work skills, self-directed, and personal commitment to safety and quality.
Must be able to ascend and descend multiple flights of stairs, lift 50lbs, stand on his/her feet for extended periods of time and be physically flexible including bending, rotating, and kneeling.
Must be able to wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) such as Level A suit, full face respirator, SCBA (Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus), safety glasses, steel toed shoes, Tyvek, hearing protection and gloves.
