As a Security Officer Access Control Operations in Theodore, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will manage entry points, verify badges and credentials, monitor access activity, and help maintain an orderly environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility, including verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and directing authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, loading areas, employee parking, business operations areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Maintain accurate access logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with site policies and Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
