Maintenance Technician - Automated Manufacturing (Direct Hire) Location: Buffalo Grove, IL Shift: Nights \| 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM Rotating Schedule Keep Advanced Manufacturing Equipment Running at Peak Performance Are you a skilled Maintenance Technician with experience troubleshooting high-speed automation? Join a growing manufacturing team where your expertise in electrical, mechanical, and automated systems will play a critical role in maximizing production uptime and driving continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain high-speed automated assembly, transfer, and material handling systems. Diagnose and support PLCs, sensors, actuators, pneumatic systems, and electro-mechanical equipment. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability. Support automated production lines and integrated manufacturing equipment. Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, quality, and productivity. Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to resolve equipment issues and maintain production schedules. Qualifications Experience maintaining and troubleshooting automated assembly, transfer, or material handling systems. Strong electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and PLC troubleshooting skills. Proven success supporting equipment in high-volume, high-speed manufacturing environments. Experience with inline, cam-driven, or mechanically timed automation systems. Experience with Mikron G05 equipment or similar high-speed assembly platforms strongly preferred. Additional experience with injection molding, integrated automation cells, ASRS systems, AMRs, or warehouse automation is a plus.
