As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver College Graduate in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to site needs. This driving post requires an armed guard card/license and a valid driver's license. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at government facilities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and public service agencies as directed by site procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization as required, and document visitor activity, incidents, and patrol observations in accordance with applicable procedures.
• Maintain required firearms qualifications, licensing, and training; carry authorized equipment and perform duties in compliance with Allied Universal policies and applicable laws.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be a graduate of a Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or equivalent.
• Possess at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Possess a college degree.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Corrections Officer License.
• Possess a DD214 with Honorable Discharge, an Associate Degree or 60 College Credits, a Police Academy Certificate, or a Corrections Academy Certificate.
• Possess a Law Enforcement Officer License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
