This is a clinical provider position within Park Medical Associates (PMA), a multi-specialty practice within Johns Hopkins Regional Physicians LLC. The Principal Physician is responsible for providing comprehensive medical care within their respective specialties, including evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of patients.

The Principal Physician delivers high-quality, evidence-based medical care while collaborating with physicians, clinical staff, and other members of the healthcare team to promote patient health, safety, continuity of care, and positive clinical outcomes in accordance with Johns Hopkins Medicine standards, organizational policies and applicable professional guidelines.

Qualifications / Experience:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from an accredited medical school
• Successful completion of an accredited residency training program appropriate to the physician's specialty
• Successful completion of accredited fellowship program appropriate to the physicians' specialty
• Board certification in the specialty, or achievement of board certification within the timeframe required by Johns Hopkins Regional Physicians and/or Park Medical Associates
• Current valid/unrestricted licensure to practice medicine in the State of Maryland.
• Current valid/unrestricted Maryland CDS (Controlled Dangerous Substances) and Federal DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) licensure, as applicable to the position
• Eligibility for unrestricted participation in the Medicare and Medicaid programs and other third-party payer programs
• Ability to obtain and maintain applicable medical staff membership, privileges, credentialing, and payor enrollment as required for the position
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with staff, physicians, Johns Hopkins Hospital departments, healthcare facilities, and outside agencies.
• Strong interpersonal skills necessary to interview, educate, counsel, and communicate with patients and families
• Demonstrate clinical judgement, critical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a multi-specialty practice environment and collaborate across clinical disciplines
• High level of patience, professionalism, tolerance, and tact when working with patients, families, colleagues, and others in situations involving competing priorities and time pressures
• Professional demeanor, conduct, and appearance consistent with organizational and professional standards

Salary Range: Minimum 10.00/hour - Maximum 200.00/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
