Department 10536 VP, Systems, Data, Finance, GA, DR, Pros Res & CampaignPay Range $45,926.40 - $76,523.20 Responsible for direct support of fundraising unit within the Foundation. The Development Assistant partners with a development officer (s) to support all fundraising initiatives. The Development Assistant is expected to independently solve problems, manage donor issues and respond to questions from donors or other Hospital/Foundation staff in the absence of the Director. The Development Assistant will be responsible for: some clerical/administrative support for a professional fundraiser(s), providing logistical and creative support for special event planning and execution including community based fundraising events and online donor giving, identifying and cultivating low end donors to the program and soliciting gifts for the program, and support for major gift correspondence including thank you letters, stewardship letters and some small mail campaigns. The Development Assistant must be comfortable working with data including data entry into the donor database, executing queries and evaluating data in donor reports.The Development Assistant will be expected to independently manage some writing assignments including letters, stewardship reports and briefs.Minimum Education
