*Job Overview*
The Associate of Site Merchandising will own the end-to-end digital merchandising strategy and execution across our digital properties for a category or area of ownership. You will define how customers discover, browse, and shop across our digital channels - ensuring a seamless, inspiring, and high-converting experience that reflects both brand storytelling and business priorities.
This role sits at the intersection of art and analytics: part strategist, part operator, and part storyteller. You'll partner closely with Merchandising, Marketing, and Creative teams to drive engagement, conversion, and revenue growth. You will lead the content strategy to improve discovery and inspire customers.
The Associate will put the customer at the center of all decisions by working closely with peers and cross-functional teams across business areas to create a seamless experience. The Associate demonstrates a deep understanding of business objectives, defining and implementing site strategies to meet business objectives. The Associate thrives on results, takes the initiative to advocate for business needs to support area of ownership, and reacts to business as needed. They must be highly analytical with strong business acumen, organized, and possess great communication and presentation skills as they will represent their category in many forums.
*What You Will Do*
* Develop and lead the site merchandising vision and strategy in your area of ownership, aligning with overall company and merchandising goals
* Translate category objectives into digital experiences that maximize customer engagement, conversion, and profitability
* Partner with cross-functional stakeholders on assortment and content strategy, ensuring site storytelling reflects key trends, brand priorities, and seasonal moments
* Lead site event strategies, creating a seamless experience across marketing, digital content, navigation, linking, and product sequencing
* Oversee the execution of category pages (PLPs), landing pages, and navigation for your category
* Ensure taxonomy, filters and onsite search are optimized for intuitive product discovery and conversion
* Partner with cross-functional stakeholders on Product Detail Page optimization, inclusive of attribution, images, size and fit information, reviews, and overall page layout
* Partner with Marketing and Creative to develop cohesive playbooks to bring brands, events, & stories to life
* Collaborate with Analytics to monitor performance KPIs (revenue, traffic, conversion, AOV and conversion funnel metrics) and identify opportunities for growth
*Skills You Will Need*
*Collaboration*: Collaborate with merchant teams to understand business strategy, objectives, and priorities.
*Presentation Skills*: Prepare and present quarterly business reviews (QBRs) to optimize taxonomy and search strategies, including competitive deep dives. Provide insights and strategies for the best online experience.
*Cross-Functional Relationship Building*: Foster strategic relationships with merchants, marketing, creative production, production, and internal site merchandise partners to leverage resources and establish best-in-class event execution.
*Innovation and Competitive Analysis*: Seek opportunities to grow the business by improving the customer shopping experience through innovation and competitive analysis.
*Data Analysis*: Work with business intelligence, experimentation, and relevancy teams to understand and develop comprehensive strategies for site audits.
*Project Management*: Ability to juggle multiple projects, identify primary and secondary objectives, prioritize time, and communicate timelines to team members.
*Product/Project Ownership*: Ability and desire to take ownership of products and projects.
*Creative and Strategic Thinking*: Ability to think creatively, strategically, and technically.
*Technical Proficiency*: Knowledge of MS Office computer programs is required.
*Who You Are*
* Candidates with a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field are encouraged to apply. 3-5 years of direct experience.
* This role involves performing essential job functions such as communication, collaboration, and use of office and computer systems. Responsibilities include the ability to access and review written and electronic information, and to move within the work environment and interact with workplace materials as needed to carry out job responsibilities.
* Able to work a flexible schedule based on department and company needs.
