Responsibilities

The EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT, reports to the VP, Technology and Engineering, and will be located in our Research Center facility. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Perform a variety of complex and responsible administrative duties and projects.
  • Provides high level administrative support to VP, Technology and Engineering.
  • Coordinates Non-Disclosure Agreements and Patents for Howmet. This includes coordinating information with location leadership, Engineering, Commercial Organization, and Legal.
  • Works independently and in collaboration with others to manage and complete various projects.
  • Arranges and coordinates travel, international and domestic, in addition to meetings.
  • Completes VP, Technology and Engineering expense reporting.
  • Develops itineraries and agendas.
  • Attends meetings as executive representative and reports on proceedings.
  • Administers and coordinates recognition awards and events for Research Center.
  • Prepares correspondence, reports, documents and spreadsheets.
  • In addition to VP, Engineering and Technology, may provide administrative support to Research Center Staff.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of five years related experience working with an executive or senior level manager.
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in an administrative professional curriculum from an accredited institution.
  • Ability to conduct responsibilities with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to manage multiple priorities and support multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Highly organized and effective interpersonal skills.
  • Must possess a high level of confidentiality, professionalism, business etiquette, and discretion.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Legal and manufacturing experience
  • Experience and understanding of dynamics of working in a large organization.
  • Knowledge of ITAR
