Summary: Responsible for optimizing businesses' revenue cycles from account creation to payment. Analize incoming revenue against expenses, review billing practices, and perform revenue forecast analyses. This position is onsite Monday - Friday.

  1. Analyze incoming revenue and measuring income against expenses.
  1. Develop and implement improved revenue cycle processes and procedures from intake to collections.
  1. Review billing practices to guarantee accurate revenue recognition and invoicing.
  1. Prepare for financial audits by ensuring procedural compliance in revenue reporting and collection.
  2. Oversee bookkeeping practices and facilitating the collection of outstanding payments.
  1. Analyze revenue cycle data, preparing revenue forecasts, and performing trend analysis.
  1. Prevent payment delays by handling account queries and complaints in a timely manner.
  1. Present revenue cycle reports and forecasts, as well as identifying opportunities to increase revenue.
  1. Keep abreast of regulatory requirements and best practices in revenue cycle management. with the provider credentialing department to ensure data is accurate for new payers and new locations and to resolve credentialing data impacting claim processing.
  1. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Educations and Experience: Associate's degree in accounting or related field. Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) preferred. Minimum (2) two years' experience in a clinical or HMO/Prepaid Revenue Cycle/Business Office environment. Epic experience preferred

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations: Certification on medical procedural coding or equivalent work experience.
