Responsibilities

Wage Range: $18.00-21.00/hour

About the Position: We are looking for a Housekeeper to work in a fast paced hospital. Duties to include but are not limited to: Maintains cleanliness of indoor areas, cleans fixtures, floors, walls, furniture, windows, & all other areas. Makes beds, empties trash, and restocks supplies as requested.

Qualifications

Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to speak, read and write in English. Ability to rotate shifts and /or buildings as needed. Must have knowledge of commonly-used commercial housekeeping concepts, practices, and procedures - preferably in the healthcare field.

  • Requires standing and walking for prolonged periods of time.
  • Frequently lifts up to 25 pounds.
  • Requires full range of motion, manual and finger dexterity, and hand-eye coordination.
  • Requires frequent pushing, pulling of heavy loads, kneeling, grasping, stooping and bending
  • Ability to maintain patient and corporate confidentiality
  • Must be able to speak, read and write.
  • Emotional stability necessary to perform the essential functions of the job.
  • Vision and hearing sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job.
  • Requires repetitive use of hands and light lowering of objects
  • High school education or equivalent with six months of cleaning experience required.
