Job Title: Maintenance Technician II

Employment Type: Full-Time

Location: Bremen, IN

Shift: Night Shift

Hours: 4:45 PM - 5:00 AM

Schedule: 2-2-3 Swing Shift

Scheduled overtime every other week, with additional overtime opportunities available.

Employees work a 2-2-3 schedule consisting of approximately 36 hours one week and 48 hours the following week, resulting in approximately 14 scheduled workdays per month and every other Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off.

Position Overview

The Maintenance Technician II supports manufacturing operations through the troubleshooting, repair, installation, and preventive maintenance of production equipment and facility systems. This individual should be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced industrial/manufacturing environment and diagnosing both electrical and mechanical equipment issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair industrial manufacturing and production equipment.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Diagnose equipment failures and determine root causes.
  • Troubleshoot motors, sensors, controls, drives, and related electrical components.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and equipment documentation.
  • Support equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications.
  • Complete scheduled preventive maintenance and document completed work.
  • Respond to production downtime and work efficiently to restore equipment.
  • Follow all plant safety procedures, including PPE requirements.
  • Partner with production, engineering, and other maintenance team members as needed.


Candidate Profile

  • Strong industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience.
  • Solid electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
  • Good employment history and a detailed resume demonstrating hands-on maintenance responsibilities.
  • Ability to work the 2-2-3 night/swing schedule.
  • Professional communication and ability to work effectively with maintenance supervisors and production teams.
  • Candidates should demonstrate true technical maintenance capability rather than general labor or basic facilities maintenance experience.
