Overview
We are seeking an experienced Contingent Worker to join the Finance Spend Cluster as a dedicated Project Manager supporting US Pay operations and a critical cross-team LOA (Leave of Absence) fix program. This is a hands-on coordination role requiring deep domain expertise in People Operations, Payroll, and Workday.
Role Summary
You will serve as the dedicated PM for a high-priority, cross-team initiative to fix leave calculation errors in the absence management/Workday integration - an issue currently driving 96% of processing errors. You will coordinate delivery across multiple teams while also providing operational support to US Pay operations and broader Spend Cluster initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end project coordination for LOA Fix Stage 1 (integration modification, salary proration turn-off).
Drive cross-team alignment and delivery across relevant operations, time-away, employee programs, and payroll teams.
Manage workstream dependencies, risks, and escalations.
Coordinate integration testing across teams.
Prepare for and support the Stage 2 face-to-face workshop (October).
Provide operational PM support for US Pay BAU activities.
Support broader Spend Cluster initiatives including Project PRIDE, RSU Transformation, and Workday Reimagined as capacity allows.
Maintain clear status reporting and stakeholder communications.
Required Qualifications
7+ years experience in People Operations, Payroll, or HR Technology.
Hands-on Workday experience (HCM, Payroll, or Absence modules).
Proven track record of cross-team project coordination in a large-scale enterprise environment.
Strong understanding of payroll processing, leave of absence policies, and system integrations.
Experience managing multiple concurrent workstreams with competing priorities.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with an absence/disability management vendor.
Familiarity with end-to-end leave processing lifecycles.
Experience in a tech company People Operations environment.
PMP, Prince2, or equivalent project management certification.
Experience with system integration testing across HR/Payroll platforms.
