Quality Manager, you'll play a critical role in ensuring that some of
the nation's most complex industrial, energy, and mission-critical projects are
executed safely, compliantly, and to the highest standards of workmanship.
You'll serve as the onsite quality leader, partnering with project teams,
clients, subcontractors, and regulatory stakeholders to drive quality
performance and project success.
In this
role, you'll lead quality initiatives from planning through execution, oversee
inspection and compliance activities, and help foster a culture of
accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. You'll work
alongside experienced construction and operations professionals while providing
technical leadership and guidance across all aspects of project quality.

At a Glance
Pay: $99,700 to $149,500 annual salary;
dependent on relevant knowledge, skills, training, experience, and market
conditions.
Employment Type: Full-Time, Exempt
Location: On-site at project in Idaho
Falls, ID
Travel: Frequent local, regional, and
national travel will be required, up to 75%, based on project and business
needs. Initial travel to the company's headquarters in Duluth, MN will also be
required to support onboarding and provide an understanding of company
operations, processes, and procedures.

What You'll Do
- Lead and maintain the site
Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with project
requirements, quality standards, and ISO 9001 principles. - Oversee quality compliance
for self-performed and subcontracted construction activities. - Serve as the primary onsite
resource and point of contact for all quality-related matters. - Direct field inspection
activities and ensure work is performed in accordance with contract
requirements, specifications, applicable codes, and regulatory standards. - Review and approve inspection
and test plans, quality documentation, submittals, and related project
records. - Partner with project teams,
subcontractors, testing agencies, clients, and EPCM representatives to
identify, resolve, and prevent quality issues. - Lead investigations of
nonconforming work and oversee implementation of corrective and preventive
actions. - Prepare for and participate
in audits, quality reviews, inspections, and project acceptance
activities. - Track quality performance
metrics, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to
reduce deficiencies and rework. - Coach and mentor inspectors
and project personnel while promoting a culture of quality,
accountability, and workmanship excellence.
What We're Looking For
- Required
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in
Construction Management, Engineering, Quality Management, or a related
field within industrial, manufacturing, or construction environments. - 3+ years of experience
leading quality programs on government, federal, military, healthcare, or
other highly regulated and mission-critical projects. - Working knowledge of ISO
9001 Quality Management Systems and quality assurance/quality control
best practices. - Experience overseeing
quality programs for both self-performed and subcontracted construction
work. - Strong understanding of
construction methods, materials, drawings, specifications, and industry
standards. - Experience with quality
audits, inspections, testing programs, nonconformance management, and
corrective action processes. - Ability to interpret
contract documents, technical specifications, and construction drawings. - AWS Certified Welding
Inspector (CWI) certification, or the ability to obtain certification. - Strong leadership,
communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the
ability to effectively collaborate with project teams, subcontractors,
clients, and EPCM representatives. - Ability to obtain and
maintain access to Department of Energy, federal, and military
facilities, including successful completion of required background
screenings. - Must possess and maintain a
valid state driver's license with ability to travel to or work from
local, regional, and national project sites.
