What You Will Learn:

The Assistant Manager of Retail Merchandising, reporting to the Director of Retail Merchandising, supports the end-to-end planogram process and in-store merchandising execution across skincare brands and retail partners. This role helps bring category strategies to life at shelf through strong project management, cross-functional collaboration, vendor coordination, and execution against retailer timelines.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Support planogram development, execution, and rollout across Food/Grocery accounts.
  • Partner with the Director and cross-functional teams to translate category strategies and retailer objectives into compelling in-store merchandising solutions.
  • Manage planogram timelines and deliverables in partnership with Sales, Marketing, Trade Marketing and Promo Purchasing.
  • Own account lead planogram trackers, store lists, and SKU reference tools to ensure accuracy and alignment across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate day-to-day activities with third-party vendors supporting printing, fixtures, and merchandising execution.
  • Support retailer-specific category visions designed to enhance the shopper experience and drive category growth.
  • Build knowledge of merchandising rends, competitor strategies, retailer dynamics, and category insights to inform future planning.
  • Support implementation of global Derm merchandising standards and consistency across shelf presentation, signage, and in-store execution.

Job Scope:

  • Manage multiple planogram builds and merchandising projects across Strategic Food accounts and store formats, while balancing competing priorities and timelines.
  • Support development and execution of consistent merchandising and category vision strategies across LRP/CeraVe/Vichy brands and retailers.
  • Track Strategic Food merchandise-related budgets and investments across print, fixtures, and execution ensuring accuracy and visibility.
  • Partner with our retail teams, internal cross-functional stakeholders and third-party vendors to support execution of space planning and merchandise initiatives.
  • Build strong day-to-day working relationships with internal teams and third-party partners to ensure execution excellence.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency in merchandising execution while maintaining brand standards and retailer requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and tools that increase speed, visibility, and quality of merchandising outputs.
  • Balance strategic and executional workstreams, while adapting to changing business needs and timelines.
  • Develop towards increased retailer and project ownership as experience and capabilities grow.
  • Work is reviewed against organizational objectives, deadlines, and overall business impact.

What We Are Looking For:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's college degree
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in merchandising, category management, space planning, sales, or marketing (CPG or beauty experience preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with planogram software (e.g., Spaceman, JDA, Blue Yonder) & Project Management tool WRIKE preferred.
  • Demonstrated interest in retail, merchandising, category development, and the shopper experience.

  • Results-driven, curious, and passionate about retail and merchandising.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
  • Proactive problem solver with sound judgement and a willingness to learn.
  • Demonstrates the potential and desire to grow into increased strategic and retailer ownership over time.
