Electrical MV Terminators SUMMARY Mortenson is currently seeking Licensed or Unlicensed Electrical MV Terminators with commercial/industrial experience, including MV terminations, AC/DC electrical systems, and underground work for substations. RESPONSIBILITIES Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit utilizing various hand tools. Safely utilize hand and power tools after proper training (drills, crimpers, cutters, etc.). Pull DC and MV wire. Lift, position, and fasten objects. Prepare, handle, and supply materials and tools to be used by the electrical trades. Maintain a clean and organized work area, tools, and equipment. Work under immediate and close supervision according to standard instructions and established procedures. Read and interpret documents such as safety regulations, operation and maintenance instructions, blueprints and schematic drawings, and procedure manuals. Work safely with electrical equipment and with HV/MV/LV AC/DC electrical systems. Mentor and train other team members on your crews. Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels. Follow instructions and ask clarifying questions as needed. All other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or GED required. Electrical Journeyman License preferred, not required - licensed and unlicensed candidates considered. Minimum of two years of electrical experience required. Current driver's license required. Knowledge of HV/MV/LV AC/DC electrical systems and safe work practices. Ability to handle materials that can weigh up to 200 lbs. with assistance. Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.; frequently crouch, kneel, squat, climb, and reach high and low places; stand and walk throughout the work day; and use repetitive hand/arm/leg movements. Ability to see, hear, balance, and review job sites, and to frequently work in heat and other weather conditions. Strong teamwork orientation, positive attitude, professional customer service skills, and attention to detail. Active listening skills and effective communication, including openness to diverse input and feedback. Ability and willingness to travel and work on project assignments as needed. Lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling over 50 lbs will be done with assistance of another team member or equipment. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL - 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR - 10%, Washington, D.C. - 12.5%). For CA, CO, WA, MN only Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.
