Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Verify allergen and date labeling, and ensure First In, First Out (FIFO) method is followed daily in coolers, freezers, and production areas. Take responsibility for recording the second temperature in the cook and chill log daily. Promptly inform the supervisor if any food exceeds a 72-hour timeframe, dispose of the food, and document it in the waste log after notifying the supervisor. Demonstrate the ability to handle employee minor disputes regarding working procedures professionally. Maintain flexibility with regards to work schedule and hours. Be comfortable working in an environment with temperatures reaching up to 38 degrees Celsius from time to time. Display proficiency in multitasking and handling additional workloads. Competency: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: Must be able to read and write in English. * Ability to perform basic math and use a calculator. Ability to multi-task . * Attendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time. * Dependability - Follows instructions, responds to management direction; Takes responsibility for own actions; Completes tasks on time or notifies appropriate person with an alternate plan. Initiative - Asks for and offers help when needed. * Safety and Security - Observes safety and security procedures; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Use equipment and materials properly.
