Job Summary

The Office of Global Health is seeking a Research Assistant for a project of global population change. The work includes undertaking literature reviews for various papers and supporting the analysis of a large population database - The United Nations Population Division's World Population Prospects.

This position is grant-funded; employment is contingent upon the continued availability of those funds.

Essential Functions



  • Conducting literature reviews different papers focused on various aspects of global population shifts
  • Drafting manuscripts
  • Other assignments as may be agreed
  • Other duties as assigned


Required Qualifications



  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in or the equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Preferred Qualifications



  • Master's degree preferred

Additional Information
This position is classified as Part time Non-Exempt, grade G. Compensation for this grade ranges from $17.17 to $25.76 per hour. Please note that the offered rate for this position will vary based on the successful candidate's qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
