Make an impact in your community. Join our team as a Resident Advocate and help provide support, safety, and encouragement to those we serve. The Resident Services Support Specialist will be responsible for greeting clients, residents, and building visitors, and directing them to the appropriate areas. They will also be responsible for answering inquiries and providing information and updates to staff. They will interact with clients/residents over the course of the shift as appropriate and enforce the building and program rules. Additionally, they will check in outside visitors, answer and direct telephone calls to appropriate staff, and take messages as needed. This position requires excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with a diverse population. The ideal Resident Advocate is passionate about CCC's mission and believes in treating every individual with dignity and respect. They understand the impact of trauma, homelessness, substance use, and systemic barriers on the people we serve. They are skilled at balancing accountability with compassion, maintaining safety while building trust, and supporting clients through challenging situations. Successful candidates are detail-oriented, adaptable, and committed to fostering an inclusive environment where residents feel supported, valued, and empowered. Program: The Estate Hotel is a six-story, alcohol- and drug-free community located in Portland's Old Town neighborhood. It houses several CCC programs and offers a mix of fair market-rate single-room occupancy and studio units, as well as program-based single-room occupancy units. The Fair Market units are rent-restricted but do not receive rent subsidies. Every year, we serve more than 13,000 people experiencing or at risk of homelessness with affordable and supportive housing, person-centered health care, addiction recovery and employment assistance. By providing health care, housing, and jobs, CCC is ending homelessness in Portland and helping people achieve their highest potential. Schedule: Saturday, Sunday 7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 3:00pm - 11:30pm (Thursday & Friday off). Location: Estate Hotel - 225 NW Couch St. Portland, OR 97209 Compensation: $22.05/hr - $29.25/hr Final comp will be determined based on relevant experience, education, credentials/licensure, and internal equity. External candidates: Offer max $25.58/hr per our Union contract.
