Temple University's Ethics and Compliance Department is searching for a Chief Compliance Officer. Position Summary: Key responsibilities include overseeing civil rights compliance, including ADA and Titles VI, VII, and IX matters; reviewing and verifying selected external data submissions; coordinating internal compliance reviews and monitoring; developing compliance training and educational resources; communicating compliance results to senior leadership and Board committees; and maintaining current knowledge of evolving laws, regulations, and emerging risks. The successful candidate will build strong, collaborative relationships across the University and foster a proactive culture of ethical conduct, accountability, regulatory compliance, and continuous risk management. Performs other related duties as assigned. Job Details: Required Education and Experience: Working knowledge of laws and regulations in one or more of the following areas is desirable: HEOA, athletics; FERPA; Clery Act; ADA, Title VI, Title VII, Title IX, sponsored research; GLBA, and HIPAA/privacy of health information.
