Palo Verde Behavioral Health is seeking an experienced, Supervisor, Assessment and Referral for our Intake/Admissions Department. Come join our Team!

Under the direction of the Director of Admissions, the Supervisor, Assessment and Referral, assures smooth and orderly processes are followed for responding to Intake calls, referrals, and admission into the hospital.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Accountable forassistingin management of the department, providing supervision for Intake Staff, crisis intervention, and responding to referrals appropriately.
• Assisting the Director of Admissions with interviewing, hiring, and training of new employees as well as appraising performance, disciplining employees, addressingcomplaintsand resolving problems
• Assists in daily administrative duties,assistthe Admissions Director in assigned tasks, complete IntakeAssessorand duties as well as Admissions Coordinator as needed within department.
• Providing effective leadership within the Admissions Department and the ability to organize Admission staff to effectively andtimelyserve patients, families, referral sources through the referral and Admission process.

Job Requirements:

Education: Master's Degree required in related field

Expreience: minimum 1-3 years of experience in an intake/admissions department in a healthcare facility (preferrable behavioral health).

Licensure: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse through the State of Arizonarequiredor licensure by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Examiners as an LAC, LPC, LMSW, LCSW, LAMFT, LMFT

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITON:

Must be tested for Tuberculosis with a PPD skin test or chest x-ray upon hire; PPD skin testrequired annuallyor chest x-ray every 4 years thereafter.

Must obtain andmaintaina Class 1Arizona Fingerprint Clearance
