Position: Talent Acquisition Coordinator (Hybrid)



About the Role


We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to support recruiting operations and help create a smooth, consistent experience for candidates and hiring teams. In this role, you will help keep the hiring process moving, build strong working relationships across the organization, and ensure each step is handled with accuracy, follow-through, and care. This opportunity is well suited for someone who enjoys balancing coordination, communication, and process-driven work in a fast-moving environment.



Minimum Requirements



  • Associate's degree plus two years of progressively responsible experience in recruitment, human resources, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to handle confidential information with care and professionalism



Core Responsibilities



  • Manage recruitment activities for assigned job requisitions, including drafting and posting job advertisements across internal career sites, recruitment platforms, government resources, and other sourcing channels within established timeframes
  • Review resumes, conduct screening interviews, assess candidate qualifications, and recommend qualified candidates to hiring managers based on role requirements
  • Partner with hiring managers on assigned vacancies to clarify position needs, share recruitment updates, discuss candidate qualifications, and escalate issues when appropriate
  • Maintain communication with candidates throughout the recruitment and interview process, responding to routine questions and supporting a positive candidate experience
  • Monitor candidate pipelines and recruitment activity for assigned vacancies, identify sourcing challenges, and recommend follow-up actions or process improvements
  • Participate in recruitment events, career fairs, hiring events, and outreach activities to engage prospective candidates and support talent pipeline development
  • Coordinate and track onboarding logistics for temporary staff and interns while working with internal and external partners to support smooth placement processes
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting data within the applicant tracking system, ensuring documentation is complete, current, and aligned with established practices
  • Prepare recruitment reports and statistical information, monitor trends or discrepancies, and follow up on items requiring attention
  • Provide guidance on established recruitment processes and procedures while independently prioritizing assigned work and resolving routine recruitment issues



Required Skills & Abilities



  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through in recruitment coordination and administrative work
  • Ability to manage recurring processes while adapting to shifting hiring needs, timelines, and vacancy priorities
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills across candidates, hiring managers, and internal and external partners
  • Comfort working within structured systems, documentation requirements, and established workflows
  • Ability to evaluate applicant qualifications, conduct screening conversations, and make sound recommendations based on defined criteria
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills in a fast-moving environment
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems, HR information systems, recruitment platforms, and standard business software tools



Work Environment: This role is based in an office environment and includes up to 2 days of remote work per week, with the understanding that some work, projects, events, or program-site needs may require additional in-person presence.
