The Innovation team reports to the Chief Strategy Officer and works to deliver longer-term transformative solutions that meet the vision of our Village. We work on high value projects in partnership with the field, technology, product, research teams and bring in external expertise when appropriate. Members of the innovation team gain significant exposure to senior leadership and can have a significant impact on the organization, while accelerating their career development.

The Manager of Innovation role is a leadership position within the team. The Manager will own innovation projects and lead and collaborate with researchers, field teammates, analysts, and business partners to develop problem statements, hypotheses, and project plans. The Manager will independently lead projects across a variety of topics, building a deep understanding of the business that will open multiple career paths over time.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead highly interdisciplinary team to create transformative solutions to some of the Village's biggest challenges
• Apply design thinking approaches to create new solutions
• Lead a full project lifecycle through research, data analytics, discovery, prototyping and piloting
• Manage a portfolio of topics, bringing business judgement to what is moved forward at each stage of the innovation process
• Creating a culture that is open, respectful, collaborative, driven and focused on impact

Qualifications:

We are looking for an experienced candidate with a minimum of 4-7 years of work experience, preferably in a design, innovation, strategy, product, or an analytical environment.
