The assembler will assemble small components. This roll will perform the tasks of assembler 1 & 2 along with assembly of small components according to blueprints.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES |
- Exceed or meet Work Order build times.
- Clean parts
- Inspect parts to print to verify assembly.
- Keep the work area clean and free of hazards.
- Maintaining acceptable production rate while not sacrificing quality of work.
- Meeting customer and company quality standards.
- Minimizing rework and scraps.
- Optimizing setup time.
- Must adhere to all company safety standards.
- Must provide support to other departments on an as needed basis.
- Day to day work assignments may increase in complexity and volume
Primary Responsibility is Small Component Assembly
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Proficient with basic measuring tools (Calipers & Micrometers)
- Able to read and interpret detailed wiring diagrams, and drawings.
- Must demonstrate proficiency in the use of basic shop tools.
- Be able to follow written and verbal directions. (in English)
- Good eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Computer proficient.
- Ability to work independently
- Must be a team player.
- Must develop a good understanding of company quality standards.
- Must be able to provide accurate "time required" estimates.
- Must be Level 3 on skills matrix for N2, MN2, DCB, SCB
- Must Be Level 2 on skills Matrix for N2Gen, Of, OF2, and DETC products
Must be Level 2 on skills matrix for Small Assembly
