Work Schedule:

100% FTE, Day Shift. Monday - Friday, 8-hour shifts. Schedules vary 8:00AM - 8:00PM. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. A list of our pharmacy locations can be found here.

Pay:

  • Additional components of compensation may include:
    o Evening shift differential
    o Float differential

  • Provide multi-faceted support to pharmacists and clinic staff at multiple pharmacy sites across the city of Madison.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting patients with their take-home medications in a fast-paced health care environment.
  • Process claims and help patients navigate complex insurance issues.
  • Work hands-on with medications of all kinds.
  • Explore opportunities to climb our Technician Career Ladder and work in new and exciting pharmacy fields, including Remote Dispensing, Tech-Check-Tech, Anticoagulation, Adherence Packaging, and PA Services.

Education:
Minimum - HS Diploma or equivalent
Preferred - Completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program

Work Experience:
Minimum - No minimum required
Preferred - Six (6) months experience as a pharmacy technician, completion of accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program, or completion of second year of pharmacy school.

Certifications:
Minimum - Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician Registration
Preferred - Certified Pharmacy Technician
