The
Federal Work Study Program is designed to provide financial aid resources through part-time employment for students having documented financial need for assistance in meeting their educational expenses. The program must be a supplement to existing aid for students, thereby increasing part-time job opportunities throughout the campus.

Job Description: The Dean's Office of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences (
CHSS) is looking for creative, motivated, and involved Fayetteville State University students to become
CHSS Student Ambassadors. These ambassadors will represent the College and assist with marketing, communication, outreach, and student engagement efforts. They will gain professional skills by sharing the
CHSS story, promoting programs and events, and fostering stronger ties among students, faculty, staff, alumni, prospective students, and the wider community.

Job Description: The Work-Study Student provides administrative and general office support to the Dean's Office. The student will assist with day-to-day office operations, communicate professionally with students, faculty, staff, and visitors, and support special projects and activities coordinated by the Dean's Office. This position provides an opportunity to develop professional, organizational, communication, and administrative skills in a higher education setting.
Job requirements: Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a diverse group of individuals. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment. Basic computer skills, including familiarity with email, word processing, spreadsheets, and online systems. Job Description: The eSports Lab Assistant supports daily lab operations by providing customer service, monitoring activities, assisting users, and maintaining gaming equipment and workstations. Responsibilities include basic technical troubleshooting, equipment setup and shutdown, enforcing lab policies, maintaining cleanliness and organization, supporting practices and tournaments, and reporting technical or safety concerns. The position develops valuable experience in customer service, technology support, teamwork, communication, problem-solving, event support, and professional workplace practices.
Job requirements: Applicants should be dependable, professional, enrolled students with basic computer skills and an interest in gaming or technology.

Job Description: he Theatre Operations & Communications Specialist supports Theatre faculty and daily program operations across production, facilities, media, and communications. Responsibilities include assisting with box office operations; maintaining organized and publicly presentable spaces; coordinating space use; scheduling, operating, and training users in the podcast/film studio; developing and managing social media and email communications; supporting events and productions; and completing other duties as assigned.
