As a Commissioning Specialist on our team, you will participate in onsite activities to support Data Center Commissioning projects. You will have the opportunity to lead and perform all mechanical commissioning related activities to include testing (QA/QC, Functional Performance) and equipment and systems start-up, resulting in a safe and functional environment that meets established design requirements and stakeholder expectations. Candidate will engage in owner\xe2\x80\x99s L4-L5 Data Center commissioning while overseeing and supporting the L0-L3 commissioning activities. You will have the responsibility of working directly with Jacobs clients, project stakeholders, and contractors to achieve the best possible outcome for the owner/client with a focus on operational performance and efficiency. Here\xe2\x80\x99s What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Need:Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in related discipline or equivalent years of experience10+ years of progressive experience as a mechanical commissioning specialist in activities such as: Utility infrastructure, life safety, mechanical systems, plumbing systems, building/facility systems/components, building automation systems/controls and facility O&M2-3 years of focused experience as a mechanical commissioning specialist on documenting L2/L3 activities and leading L4/L5 testing for Data Center commissioningWorking knowledge ASHRAE, NFPA and Tab mechanical testing and code requirementsUnderstanding of the Construction processUS CitizenshipMust be able to clear a background checkAbility to travel up to 95%Ideally, You\xe2\x80\x99ll Also Have: Ideally the candidate will reside in the Washington DC or Northern Va Metro area - Expenses will be considered for the right candidateIndustry recognized commissioning certification IR thermography Level 1 or Level 2 certificationAWS or similar L4 lead certificationNFPA 70E certificationOSHA 10 (minimum), OSHA 30 (preferred)Experience with IR thermography'
