Job Summary Department: HVISchedule: Schedule: Monday - Friday | Onsite in our Electrophysiology (EP) procedure lab Compensation: The pay rate for this position starts at $20.00 per hour, with increases based on the candidate's years of experience. As a vital member of our clinical operations team, you'll provide administrative support to ensure our cardiac Electrophysiology Lab runs smoothly and efficiently. In this dynamic role you'll create a positive, efficient and compassionate environment for patients and clinical staff. The Practice Assistant II provides procedure scheduling and administrative support in a fast-paced, high-volume lab, and coordinates activities and communications with patients, physicians, lab staff, hospital departments and ambulatory practices. They manage confidential patient information appropriately, communicate clearly and proactively, and complete tasks effectively and in a timely manner. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in this fast-paced, collaborative environment. What You'll Do: * Manage the EP Lab's Epic/Cupid scheduling Depot and Snap Board to optimize patient flow and resource utilization. * Understand and adhere to block booking policies and daily schedule guidelines and limits. * Proactively communicate potential schedule conflicts and overbookings. * Maintain daily procedure room assignments for attending MDs, fellows, advanced practice providers (APPs), nurses and cardiovascular technologists. * Interact with patients, providers and staff in person and via telephone, Epic messaging and email. * Maintain patient confidentiality at all times per HIPAA and hospital policies. * Assist in maintaining compliance with Environment of Care (EOC) standards.
