OVERVIEW: The Rimkus Forensic Human Factors group provides services related to evaluating safety, human performance, risk perception, and decision-making associated with human interaction with products, environments, and processes. The position will require managing a range of consulting projects that may involve working with teams on multi-disciplinary projects; conducting field investigations and physical testing, including data acquisition using software or involving human subjects testing; conducting research to obtain technical data; and reviewing scientific literature and standards. REQUIRED SKILLS and ABILITIES:
PHYSICAL DEMANDS, OVERTIME, and TRAVEL: Physical Demands - While performing this job, the employee must frequently stand, walk, sit, climb, bend, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, and hear. Must be able to perform field inspections, physically move debris, inspect vehicles (commercial and tractor-trailer), and drive a motor vehicle to job sites. Employees may lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Clear vision and depth perception are also necessary. Overtime -This position is classified as salaried with an exempt FLSA status. There will be periods when overtime is required, which the employee will need to comply with to meet the demands of the position. Travel - 25% at most, overnight and field.
