Daikin Applied is hiring a Senior Manager - Culture & Engagement! He or She will play a critical role in shaping and advancing DAA's people-centered culture by designing and executing enterprise-wide employee listening and recognition strategies. This role serves as a subject matter expert in employee engagement, feedback systems, and culture-building practices, leveraging data-driven insights to influence decision-making and enhance the employee experience. Under limited supervision, you will lead end-to-end execution of engagement and pulse survey; evolve recognition programs; bring PCM, Leadership and Employee Expectations to life; lead the HR Communications strategy/partnership; create DAA's Employee Value Proposition; and partner across HR and business units/functions to drive meaningful culture initiatives and events. This role blends strategy, analytics, and execution to ensure scalable, impactful, and measurable outcomes. What you will do:

  • Survey Strategy: Using an Employee Feedback Strategy roadmap, lead the end-to-end execution of the annual engagement survey and ongoing pulse surveys
  • Design, implement, and maintain other "moments that matter" surveys such as onboarding, stay interviews, exit interviews, etc.
  • Recognition: Contribute to and evolve DAA's enterprise recognition strategy, incorporating best practices and benchmarking. Design and deploy recognition programs, resources, and tools that reinforce desired behaviors and company values, partnering with HR Business Partners, Communications and leadership to increase adoption, participation, and sharing of success stories to build awareness and engagement of recognition initiatives
  • Lead the culture-defining work to bring PCM, Leadership, and Employee Expectations to life in collaboration with Talent Management, HRBP's, Communications and other key partnerships
  • Lead the HR Communications Strategy and Deployment in partnership with the DAA Communications team. Includes Leadership All Hands, DAA Employee Townhalls, HR Townhalls, HR Manager Meetings, etc.
  • Leverage data analytics to identify trends and effectiveness, track and report on key metrics, and translate complex spreadsheets into compelling narratives and stakeholder-ready insights
  • Design and deliver DAA's Culture and Employee Value Proposition definitions/programs. Collaborate with key partners (Comms, HRBP's, L&D, Talent, etc. to bring them to life
  • Build excitement and engagement around company initiatives through communication, training and stakeholder alignment
  • Plan and execute company-wide events/culture initiatives to align with people-centered management principles (United Way Campaign, promotion celebrations, large panels and meetings, Daikin Days, etc.)
  • Manage large-scale projects with multiple stakeholders and firm deadlines
  • Develop and deploy processes, resources, and tools for the organization and the Development & Culture team to support awareness, efficiency, and scalability (Examples could include SharePoint site creation, how-to resources, nomination selection processes, etc.)

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience in Human Resources, I/O Psychology, Business or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in HR, Employee Engagement or Organizational Development

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Human Resources, I/O Psychology, Business or related field
  • 3+ years of experience with survey/data analytics, EVP/Culture

The typical pay rate for the position ranges from $100,800 - $171,700 USD Annual + 15% targetbonus in Minnesota. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position(s) fall. Individual hourly pay rate will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
