The Global Category Director - Collagen will be responsible for driving the strategic direction and growth of Rousselot's collagen category. This role will involve leading cross-functional teams, developing and executing category strategies, and ensuring the successful commercialization of collagen products. - Develop and implement global category strategies for collagen, aligned with Rousselot's overall
business objectives - Develop pricing strategies and provide pricing guidance to ensure competitive positioning and profitability
- Formulate and execute growth strategies for the collagen product line, focusing on market expansion and customer acquisition
- Lead marketing promotion efforts, including digital marketing campaigns, social media strategies, and content creation
- Drive sustainability initiatives within the collagen category, ensuring alignment with Rousselot's sustainability goals
- Provide product management expertise, including overseeing the product lifecycle from development to market launch
- Collaborate with regional teams to ensure the successful commercialization and launch of new collagen products
- Monitor and report on category performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement and opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders * Manage events such as trade shows, conferences, and webinars to promote collagen products and engage with key stakeholders
- Oversee lead management processes, ensuring effective tracking, nurturing, and conversion of leads into customers
- Lead cross-functional teams, including R&D, marketing, sales, and supply chain, to drive category growth and innovation
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences or related field
- Deep understanding of the collagen market and its applications is preferred Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Proven track record of driving business growth and achieving commercial success
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Passion for innovation and sustainability
- Willingness to travel internationally as required up to 35%
- CRM knowledge
- Experienced project manager, managing large projects
