Staff Accountant

1.0 FTE - Day Shift

Starting Pay - $27.66 to $41.48 (based on experience)

Offers for external candidates are generally made between the minimum and midpoint of the range, based on experience.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• Two to three years of healthcare experience preferred
• Demonstrated analytical skills
• Strong understanding of healthcare business and accounting concepts

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepares and enters monthly adjusting and closing entries.
• Assists with compilation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports including Hospital Annual Report, annual governmental surveys, and other various reports as needed.
• Assists with the development, coordination, and implementation of Finance procedures.
• Assists with the annual budget process.
• Provides financial support to management.
  
  
  
  • Attends education and training seminars and meetings.
  • Assists with monthly bank reconciliation.
  • Assists with Accounts Payable processing.
  • Assists with Fixed Asset System and prepares monthly fixed asset reconciliation.
  • Other duties as assigned.
