What will you do?
Set EVD Channel Strategy *Own EVD channel strategy, including where to play, how to win, and core portfolio, PPA, merchandising, activation, and capability choices.
*Translate enterprise and BU priorities into a measurable growth agenda.
*Anticipate customer, competitive, retail, consumer, and shoppershiftsto surface growth opportunities and risks.
Identify and Prioritize Growth Opportunities *Use consumer, shopper, customer, marketplace, syndicated, and financial insights to identifyeveryday, seasonal, and promotional opportunities.
*Maintain a prioritized opportunity pipeline aligned to strategy, financial hurdles, customer needs, and capacity.
*Convert data into clear recommendations, tradeoffs, impact, and execution paths.
Shape Portfolio *Shape portfolio and merchandising solutions that drive activation, revenue, profit, and share with manageable complexity.
*Guide business cases, financial evaluation, governance, commercialization, and Accolade management.
*Evaluate portfolio productivity and rationalization opportunities to improve performance.
Lead Strategic Initiatives and Commercialization *Lead cross-functional initiatives that advance EVD growth priorities from opportunity to implementation.
*Define scope, success measures, workplans, governance, risks, dependencies, and accountabilities.
*Partner with functional leaders to quantify impact, remove barriers, and adjust plans.
*Represent the channel on strategic work, including packaging, merchandising, insights, waste reduction, and capability development.
InfluenceCustomer Planning and Execution *Stay close to Sales and Retail teams on customer priorities, store conditions, competition, and execution opportunities.
*Embed channel strategy early in customer planning to shape feasible, holistic solutions.
*Build customer-facing recommendations that connect shopper value, category growth, retailer economics, and Hershey growth.
*Scale best practices across Channel Strategy and Shopper Solutions to reduce duplication.
Shape Decisions Through Executive Storytelling *Advise commercial and business leaders with fact-based recommendations and strategic alternatives.
*Craft executive-ready stories that clarify insights, risks, opportunities, tradeoffs, and implications.
*Facilitate alignment and influence investment, resourcing, and capability decisions. Minimum Education & Requirements
*Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Finance, Strategy, Analytics, or related field.
*8+ years in commercial strategy, channel strategy, sales, category management, marketing, RGM, insights, analytics, finance, consulting, or related functions.
*Experience leading cross-functional initiatives from strategy through implementation.
*Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, storytelling, facilitation, and presentation skills.
*Ability to translate syndicated, shopper, customer, marketplace, and financial data into recommendations.
*Experience developing business cases, strategic plans, financial evaluations, scenarios, and executive presentations.
*Proven senior stakeholder influence in a matrixed environment.
*Ability to balance enterprise, channel, customer, financial, operational, and executional realities.
