POSITION SUMMARY

The Director, Enterprise Transformation & Digital Enablement leads enterprise-wide efforts to simplify work, improve operating efficiency, optimize resource utilization, and accelerate responsible adoption of automation, artificial intelligence, and digital tools. This role partners with executive, functional, and operational leaders to identify high-value opportunities, redesign processes, implement scalable solutions, and deliver measurable business outcomes. The Director serves as an enterprise change agent and hands-on subject matter expert, combining business process reengineering, Lean and Six Sigma disciplines, automation, data analytics, change management, and technology enablement to create a more efficient, agile, and digitally enabled organization.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Enterprise Transformation Strategy and Governance



  • Develop and execute a multi-year enterprise transformation and digital enablement roadmap aligned with the Company's strategic priorities, operating model, growth objectives, and financial goals.
  • Partner with executive leadership to identify, prioritize, and sponsor initiatives that improve productivity, scalability, service quality, employee experience, and customer outcomes.
  • Establish governance for transformation initiatives, including intake, prioritization, sponsorship, resource planning, risk management, stage gates, performance reporting, and benefits realization.
  • Create practical evaluation criteria that balance strategic value, implementation complexity, organizational readiness, risk, cost, and expected return.
  • Provide clear, timely reporting to executive leadership on the transformation portfolio, delivery progress, risks, resource requirements, financial impact, and realized benefits.


Process Optimization and Continuous Improvement



  • Lead cross-functional process reviews to identify bottlenecks, duplication, manual effort, control gaps, inconsistent practices, and non-value-added activities.
  • Document current-state processes and design simplified, standardized, and scalable future-state workflows using Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, value-stream mapping, and business process reengineering methods.
  • Facilitate workshops with process owners and subject matter experts to diagnose root causes, challenge existing assumptions, and develop sustainable solutions.
  • Establish process ownership, standard operating procedures, controls, service levels, key performance indicators, and continuous improvement routines.
  • Build organizational capability by coaching leaders and teams on structured problem solving, operational excellence, and continuous improvement practices.


Automation, Artificial Intelligence, and Digital Enablement



  • Identify and implement opportunities to automate repetitive, manual, high-volume, and rules-based work through workflow automation, robotic process automation, low-code and no-code platforms, artificial intelligence, and other digital solutions.
  • Translate business challenges into clearly defined use cases, requirements, business cases, implementation plans, and measurable outcomes.
  • Partner with Information Technology, cybersecurity, legal, compliance, data owners, and business leaders to ensure solutions are secure, supportable, compliant, appropriately governed, and aligned with enterprise architecture.
  • Establish responsible-use practices for artificial intelligence, including appropriate human oversight, data protection, model risk considerations, access controls, testing, documentation, and monitoring.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and external partners based on business value, total cost of ownership, scalability, security, integration requirements, and organizational readiness.
  • Drive adoption of Microsoft Power Platform, Power Automate, Power BI, Copilot, and other approved technologies that improve productivity, insight, and decision-making.


Data, Analytics, and Performance Management



  • Define quantitative baselines, targets, and success measures for transformation initiatives, including cycle time, quality, cost, capacity, service level, risk reduction, and user adoption.
  • Develop dashboards, scorecards, and executive reporting that provide transparent insight into operational performance and transformation results.
  • Use data and process analytics to identify trends, root causes, control weaknesses, and improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure claimed efficiencies and savings are validated, tracked, sustained, and incorporated into operating plans and budgets where appropriate.


Change Leadership and Organizational Adoption



  • Develop and execute change management strategies that address leadership alignment, stakeholder engagement, communications, training, adoption, resistance, and sustainability.
  • Engage employees closest to the work in solution design and implementation while maintaining clear accountability for decisions, timelines, and outcomes.
  • Build a culture that encourages responsible experimentation, innovation, disciplined execution, and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and internal consultant to leaders navigating complex process, technology, and operating model changes.


Financial and Operational Impact



  • Develop business cases and cost-benefit analyses for proposed initiatives, including implementation cost, resource requirements, risk, expected savings, capacity creation, and return on investment.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce administrative burden, avoid unnecessary cost, improve resource allocation, and redirect capacity toward higher-value work.
  • Partner with Finance and business owners to validate hard-dollar savings, cost avoidance, productivity gains, and other realized benefits.
  • Manage transformation-related budgets, consultants, vendors, contracts, milestones, and performance expectations.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, information systems, operations management, finance, organizational development, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • At least 10 years of progressive experience in enterprise transformation, operational excellence, process improvement, digital enablement, automation, technology consulting, or management consulting, including significant leadership responsibility.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional transformation initiatives that produced measurable improvements in cost, productivity, quality, cycle time, controls, or customer and employee experience.
  • Hands-on experience identifying, designing, and implementing automation, artificial intelligence, workflow, analytics, or low-code solutions in a complex business environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, value-stream mapping, root-cause analysis, business process reengineering, and continuous improvement practices.
  • Experience developing transformation roadmaps, governance models, business cases, project plans, performance measures, and executive-level reporting.
  • Proven ability to lead through influence, challenge established practices constructively, build cross-functional alignment, and communicate complex concepts in clear business terms.
  • Strong financial acumen and demonstrated ability to quantify, validate, and sustain the value delivered by transformation initiatives.
  • Ability to travel as business needs require and to obtain and maintain a security clearance if required by the position or customer obligations.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's degree in business administration, engineering, information systems, operations management, or a related discipline.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification.
  • PMP, Prosci, Agile, Scrum, or comparable project, program, or change management certification.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Power Automate, Power BI, Copilot, Azure AI, robotic process automation, process mining, and enterprise workflow platforms.
  • Experience establishing artificial intelligence governance and responsible-use practices in a regulated or security-sensitive environment.
  • Experience in government contracting, defense, security services, or another highly regulated, geographically dispersed, and service-based organization.
  • Experience supporting global operations and leading transformation across multiple business units, functions, or countries.

  • High standards of integrity, discretion, accountability, practicality, and stewardship of Company resources and sensitive information.


PAY TRANSPARENCY / COMPENSATION

For positions posted in jurisdictions requiring pay transparency, the applicable salary range will be included in the job posting in accordance with local requirements. Final compensation will be based on factors such as experience, qualifications, location, internal equity, and business needs.


WORKING CONDITIONS

Work is primarily performed in a professional office or hybrid environment and may involve frequent interruptions and extended periods using a computer. Standard business hours generally apply; however, the role must be available as needed to support executive priorities, implementation activities, critical business events, and global operations outside standard hours. Periodic domestic and international travel may be required.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation. The role regularly requires communicating, remaining stationary for extended periods, and operating standard office equipment. Occasional movement of lightweight office equipment may be required.
