Job Description

Position Summary:
Work as part of a team having responsibility for performing a variety of routine manual tasks in the warehouse,receiving, shipping and manufacturing area.



Pay: $24


Shift: Morning - Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Convey materials from trailers and/or work area by using hands and/or pallet jack or forklift.
* Operators equipment to include pallet jacks, forklifts, and stand-up rack lifts.
* Follows instructions to ascertain materials to be moved.
* Receive, verify and document shipments of material according to dock procedures.
* Keeps accurate inventory using handheld scanner.
* Verify inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area.
* Practice personal safety and follow all safety practices and procedures. Comply with all policies, practices andprocedures. Report all unsafe activities to management.
* Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
* Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education:
* High school diploma or equivalent.


Requirements:



  • At least 6 months of experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Experience working in a team environment
  • Must have experience being detail oriented and completing work tasks thoroughly
  • Experience using math skills in relation to currency, weight measurement, and volume and distance
  • Computer Skills (SAP/ERP Systems, Microsoft Office 365)


Physical Requirements:




  • Perform moderate physical activity in a production/technical environment.



  • Regularly stand, bend, stretch, twist, reach, lift, and carry materials up to 25 lbs.



  • Demonstrate manual dexterity to grasp, handle, manipulate, and assemble materials and equipment.



  • Perform quick, repetitive hand, finger, and wrist movements.



  • Coordinate hand and body movements to respond to moving equipment or materials.



  • Possess close and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus on objects at varying distances.
