Astrion is seeking a Test & Evaluation Support Management, Senior to provide Test and Evaluation (T&E) support for product lines, capability delivery teams, and development and delivery of BES Test Services at Gunter Maxwell, AFB, AL. Field Maintenance Command Control (FMxC2) provides management support and serves as a data repository for U.S. Air Force aircraft maintenance functions, engine health and performance, and aircraft flight analysis capabilities worldwide. It also allows for the exchange of information with Air Force Standard Systems for legacy transactional systems. LogC2 data is sent to the Global Decision Support System (GDSS), which will in turn, provide C2 logistics data to the Integrated Data Environment/Global Transportation Network Convergence (IGC). FMxC2 is the maintenance information system of record for 1,170 aircraft, supporting 27,000+ users.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master's Degree in a related field and ten years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five of which must be in the DoW OR
• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five of which must be in the DoW OR
• 15 years of directly related experience with proper certifications, eight of which must be in the DoW.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, coordinate review and approval, and manage execution of test strategies, concepts, methodologies, plans, processes, and procedures.
• Provide T&E expertise across DoW Adaptive Acquisition Framework and System/Software Development Life Cycles, and advise on optimal combinations for test strategies, plans, policies, guidance, and procedures.
• Apply Scientific Test and Analysis Techniques and Design of Experiments methods.
• Support planning, implementation, and execution of test automation using DevSecOps.
• Manage and support test execution, data collection, data reduction, analysis, and reporting.
• Review, analyze, and report on Key Performance Indicators, Critical Technical Parameters, and measures of effectiveness, suitability, performance, and survivability, and recommend updates.
• Support implementation and management of system and software quality reporting, including tracking and managing software problem reports and defects.
• Support formation, organization, and operations of Integrated Test Teams.
• Prepare or advise others in preparing test criteria, computations, analyses, specifications, cost estimates, and technical reports.
• Select and apply T&E techniques and procedures to analyze and evaluate complex problems, data, or other technical areas.
• Review and evaluate the adequacy, accuracy, and overall quality of test results and conclusions.
• Develop innovative approaches to challenges and complete assigned tasks efficiently, on time, and thoroughly.
• Evaluate the configuration, capability, and operational relevance of test environments and ensure their availability for thorough testing of software releases, including fault insertion and identification.
• Prepare T&E sections of acquisition documentation.
• Support certification test activities such as Joint Interoperability Test Center efforts.
• Support audit and inspection activities related to T&E.
• Provide or support T&E-related training required to execute test activities.
• Support planning, execution, and reporting of Cybersecurity Test and Evaluation.
• Support Functional Configuration Audits and Physical Configuration Audits.
• Support review and recommendations for higher-level DoW, AF, AFMC, AFLCMC, and BES T&E policies, guidance, processes, and procedures.
• Participate in DoW and AF T&E summits, conferences, and meetings to deliver or receive presentations on test status, accomplishments, challenges, lessons learned, support needs, technical developments, program changes, and interpretation of program objectives, and provide test report support services including documentation of test events and technical reviews of engineering documentation.
• Create and review specifications, technical reports, design documentation, diagrams, and test reports.
