ABOUT THE ROLE
The IT Asset Management Specialist is responsible for overseeing day-to-day IT Asset Management (ITAM) operations for MYR and subsidiary companies. The ITAM Specialist plays a key role in assisting in ensuring accurate documentation, database records, and reporting. They help maintain IT Hardware stock locations and inventory by moving, stocking, and maintaining IT hardware baselines. The ITAM Specialist will also assist in contacting users about software license renewals and/or contract compliance, amongst other financial tasks. They are also responsible for performing repeatable assignments, supporting the ITAM Team. Company Overview With roots dating to 1891 and 8,500+ employees, MYR Group Inc. Essential Functions
- Completes operational processes, procedures, and systems for tracking and analyzing software, hardware, and equipment from requisition through retirement as assigned
- Accounts for IT assets by utilizing tools to manage them within the organization
- Works closely with multiple teams to support ITAM processes, ensures they are followed, and identifies gaps to improve processes
- Maintains accountability and control of IT hardware. Resolves inventory and database conflicts
- Verifies, enters, and adjusts ITAM data in a variety of forms, schedules, and reports
- Utilizes our ITSM Tool and CMDB to track the entire lifecycle of each asset, including warranty, financial, procurement, refresh date, and other information
- Helps maintain the eWaste process through our IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) vendors
Oversees the receipt of product and maintenance of asset records to ensure goods are received or returned - Helps with license audits, contacting users, and compiling responses
- Is the face of excellence in customer service to our users while guiding them to company standards
- Creates and maintains good relationships with vendors/suppliers
- Works with other departments to create and/or improve processes
- Works with two Senior team members and IT Manager to complete duties as assigned
- May participate in occasional travel (less than 10 days per year) by automobile (as driver and passenger), commercial airlines, rental vehicles, and public transportation and be able to lodge in public facilities
- Regular and predictable attendance
- Essential functions of this position are to be performed at a Company-designated office or field location

ABOUT YOU
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience with IT asset management (including computer hardware and software equipment) or role with closely-related duties/responsibilities in lieu of degree
- Associate's degree in Information Technology, or equivalent 1 year of corresponding work experience
- Readiness or experience working with an ITSM application and workflow documentation
- Must have competent Excel skills for data input with an emphasis on quality and ability to identify and fix issues
- IAITAM CAMP certification preferred
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Willingness to build upon foundational IT and Financial skills
- Experience with computers and software, including Microsoft Office 365, Teams, and Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Initiative-taker with ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Ability to learn to analyze problems and strategize for resolution or improvements
- Accuracy and precise attention to detail
- Customer-centric with the ability to work effectively with management and staff at all levels
- Goal-oriented and organized collaborator
- Ability to lift/carry up a stepladder to 25 lbs. of equipment
- Utilization of a pallet jack is a plus
- Special projects and other duties as assigned
- Ability to make professional decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of Company standards for usage of IT resources

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary $50,000-$65,000 / year
- Commensurate with experience, paid weekly. Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. MYR Group reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
