Overview

As the Inventory Storefront Coordinator, you will own the end-to-end lifecycle of Material Transfer Sales Orders (MTSOs) while acting as the single point of contact - the "storefront" - for Project Teams requesting material from the warehouse. This role is critical to maintaining inventory integrity, enforcing material movement processes, and ensuring MTSOs are executed accurately and efficiently.

A Typical Day at Prime Controls

MTSO Ownership & Execution

    Own and manage all Material Transfer Sales Orders (MTSOs) from creation through completion
  • Review, approve, edit, and validate MTSOs for accuracy and completeness
  • Research inventory availability, locations, and transaction history within Acumatica
  • Route approved MTSOs to appropriate warehouse personnel for picking and fulfillment
  • Track open MTSOs to ensure timely execution and closure
  • Escalate accordingly when material cannot be located

Project Team Liaison

  • Act as the primary warehouse-facing contact for Project Teams
  • Serve as the "face" of the warehouse for material pickups and inventory inquiries
  • Communicate MTSO status, completion confirmations, and exceptions clearly
  • Coordinate with the Pack/Ship Team Lead for shipments and deliveries

Inventory Controls & Process Enforcement

  • Enforce warehouse process and inventory controls
  • Prevent unauthorized access to inventory
  • Redirect attempts to bypass receiving or inventory processes

Operational Support & Accuracy

  • Assist with escalations related to material shortages or discrepancies
  • Partner with Receiving, Putaway, Inventory Control, and Shipping teams
  • Ensure all material movement is properly transacted in Acumatica

Required Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of Acumatica ERP
  • Warehouse or inventory coordination experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing Material Transfer Sales Orders (MTSOs)
  • Customer-facing or cross-functional liaison experience
  • Understanding of inventory accuracy principles and best practices
