Job Summary

The ORCCA Lab seeks a PostDoctoral Associate to help lead the technical development of the open-source Scarabaeus navigation software package.

Who We Are

The ORCCA Lab at the University of Colorado Boulder is in the Aerospace Engineering Sciences department and CCAR. We conduct research on astrodynamics and guidance, navigation and control in support of solar system exploration.


What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

Support development of the SCB navigation software through technical development (coding, testing) and help guide graduate students working on the project. You will collaborate with other team members within ORCCA and beyond.


What We Can Offer

The starting salary range for this part-time position is $38,000-$40,000 per year, working 20 hours per week.

  • Orbit determination experience.
  • Coding expertise.
  • Knowledge of astrodynamics and spacecraft navigation.
