Inertial Aerospace Services (IAS), a subsidiary of HEICO Aerospace, is currently recruiting for a Quality Assurance Coordinator at our facility in Highland Heights, Ohio.

The Quality Assurance Coordinator supports product and process quality by performing inspections, maintaining quality records, coordinating equipment calibration, and communicating with internal and external customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:



  • Inspecting fabricated parts and generating nonconformance reports.
  • Coordinating periodic calibration of precision test equipment.
  • Maintaining training records and creating training materials.
  • Maintaining the technical data library in a current state.
  • Monitoring safety equipment and PPE stock.
  • Performing product audits and shop area housekeeping audits.
  • Performing additional quality assurance duties as assigned.


Job Qualifications:



  • Associate degree or two years of experience in a quality department preferred.
  • Demonstrated competence using standard inspection instruments and techniques.
  • Ability to interpret technical documents and specifications.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and prepare clear technical documentation.


Work Experience:



  • Product inspection experience is required.
  • Experience in responding to internal and external customers is required.
  • FAA Repair Station or AS9110 experience preferred.


Specialized Knowledge or Abilities:



  • Read, write, and understand English.
  • Effectively use common inspection tools: calipers, gauge blocks, micrometers, etc.
  • Efficiently use MS Office applications.
  • Interact effectively with colleagues, suppliers, and customers.
  • Successful candidates will have excellent interpersonal skills, will be detailed oriented, and will be safety conscious
  • Must be flexible in handling multiple tasks and have the drive and ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residence required


This position will not require travel.
