Assists with the day to day operations of the Thrift Shop. Strong customer service environment. Cashier, receive and document donations as needed. Assists with scheduled merchandise pick-ups, up keep of dressing rooms, cleanliness of the shop and organizing merchandise. EEO/AA/Disability/Veteran Responsibilities 1. Assist in managing the shop 2. Contributes to the productivity and efficient operation at the shop 3. Assist Buyers and Volunteers with general responsibilities 4. Prepares the shop for daily operation 5. Maintains shop environment 6. Responsible to interact with auxiliary controller in preparation of monthly worksheets Qualifications EDUCATION High School graduate or equivalent. EXPERIENCE Some retail experience preferred. LICENSURE N/A SPECIAL SKILLS Excellent interpersonal communication skills required. PHYSICAL DEMAND Average retail environment and an active donation area. Handling light objects most of the day, occasional effort with light to heavy weight objects. Standing and/or walking for most of the day. YNHHS Requisition ID 196050
