Overview

Keysight is at the forefront of technology innovation, delivering breakthroughs and trusted insights in electronic design, simulation, prototyping, test, manufacturing, and optimization. Our ~15,000 employees create world-class solutions in communications, 5G, automotive, energy, quantum, aerospace, defense, and semiconductor markets for customers in over 100 countries. Learn more about what we do.

Our award-winning culture embraces a bold vision of where technology can take us and a passion for tackling challenging problems with industry-first solutions. We believe that when people feel a sense of belonging, they can be more creative, innovative, and thrive at all points in their careers.

Keysight is a leading provider of Electronic Design Automation (EDA) software used by communications and semiconductor manufacturers, chip designers, and R&D organizations around the world. Our portfolio, including ADS, RFPro, SystemVue, IC-CAP, and other advanced solutions, helps engineers model, simulate, and optimize increasingly complex electronic designs. Keysight's EDA experts work alongside customers to solve demanding technical challenges, accelerate innovation, and bring breakthrough technologies to market with greater confidence.

As an EDA Customer Success Manager, you will serve as the technical and strategic partner for a select portfolio of Keysight's largest enterprise customers. You will develop a deep understanding of each customer's design environment, technical priorities, and business objectives, then lead a coordinated customer-success strategy that expands adoption and makes Keysight solutions an integral part of their design workflows.

You will own the technical customer relationship across engineering teams and senior technical leaders, working closely with account managers, solutions engineers, services, support, and product experts. You will lead technical review meetings, adoption programs, customer training, design-flow initiatives, evaluations, and new-product introductions. You will also help customers overcome technical barriers while bringing their requirements, product feedback, and emerging needs back into Keysight.

Success in this role means helping customers realize measurable value from their Keysight investment through stronger design workflows, increased software usage, successful adoption of new capabilities, and lasting technical partnerships that support retention and expansion.

This is an opportunity for an accomplished EDA professional who wants to combine deep technical expertise with customer leadership, business insight, and program ownership. You will do more than support software: you will help influence how leading engineering organizations solve complex design challenges while shaping the future of Keysight's software strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead technical customer-success plans that align Keysight's EDA solutions with each customer's design workflows, engineering priorities, and business objectives.
  • Build trusted relationships with engineers, senior technical leaders, and executive stakeholders across strategic enterprise accounts.
  • Drive software adoption through a regular cadence of technical training, lunch-and-learns, office hours, workshops, and other customer-engagement programs.
  • Increase license utilization by helping customers fully use their base subscription capacity and, where appropriate, expand their use of available peak or extension license pools.
  • Make Keysight solutions an integral part of customers' approved design flows by identifying technical gaps, overcoming resistance to change, and guiding the adoption of new tools, workflows, and capabilities.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of Keysight's EDA portfolio and provide credible technical guidance during customer discussions, product evaluations, benchmarks, and complex design engagements.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of each customer's design environment, including its workflows, technical challenges, software usage, organizational priorities, and opportunities for broader adoption.
  • Stay actively engaged in customers' ongoing design and technical activities, including holding on-site or virtual office hours to help engineering teams address design issues.
  • Lead Technical Review Meetings (TRMs) and communicate customer progress, risks, requirements, and opportunities to customer stakeholders and internal Keysight teams.
  • Coordinate solutions engineers, services, support, product specialists, and other subject-matter experts to address customer needs, prioritize work, and ensure commitments are completed.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer to the Keysight Factory, communicating software defects, product requirements, and enhancement opportunities to Keysight's product and development organizations and helping drive them toward resolution.
  • Promote new products, features, and New Product Introduction (NPI) initiatives through customer events, technical demonstrations, evaluations, and design-flow engagements.
  • Advance key Keysight technology initiatives, including 5G, RF and Microwave (RFMW), High-Speed Digital (HSD), photonics, and other emerging design technologies, by connecting new capabilities to relevant customer challenges and workflows.
  • Identify and develop opportunities for design-flow wins, additional license adoption, services engagements, and broader deployment of Keysight solutions across customer teams and locations.
  • Partner with account managers and technical teams to develop account plans, customer strategies, and coordinated coverage that support adoption, retention, and account growth.
  • Measure and communicate customer outcomes, including proof of value, software adoption, usage growth, design-flow wins, customer health, retention, and expansion.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent university education in Electrical Engineering or a closely related technical field.
  • Typically, eight or more years of relevant engineering, applications engineering, or EDA industry experience, consistent with the scope and technical leadership expected at the Expert level.
  • Five or more years of hands-on engineering experience using EDA software to model, simulate, analyze, or solve real-world electronic design problems. This experience should involve directly working with the tools, not solely managing projects, selling software, or supporting customers who use them.
  • Specialized technical depth in one or more relevant areas, such as RF and microwave design, RFIC, electronic system-level design, high-speed digital, semiconductor design, or process design kits (PDKs). Strong RF or microwave expertise is particularly valued.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand complex customer design flows, identify technical gaps, troubleshoot design challenges, and lead or perform software evaluations and benchmarks.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with engineering users, senior technical leaders, executive stakeholders, and internal product teams.
  • Experience leading complex technical projects or programs across multiple contributors, functions, and priorities, including coordinating work without direct managerial authority.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, follow through on commitments, and collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team environment.
  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 25-40% to customer locations, technical meetings, and adoption events.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related technical field.
  • Significant hands-on experience with Keysight EDA solutions such as ADS, RFPro, SystemVue, IC-CAP, or related tools.
  • Experience working in complex enterprise engineering environments or supporting large, strategically important customer accounts.
  • Customer-facing experience in applications engineering, technical consulting, customer success, solutions engineering, or a similar role.
  • Experience integrating EDA tools into established customer design flows and driving adoption across multiple engineering teams or locations.
  • Broad knowledge across multiple EDA technologies, combined with the ability to identify and engage the appropriate specialists when deeper expertise is required.
