The GRC Archer Solutions Engineer is responsible for the design, configuration, administration, integration, and continuous improvement of the RSA Archer Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) platform. This role serves as the technical owner of the Archer platform, partnering with Enterprise Risk Management, Internal Audit, Compliance, Information Security, Privacy, Legal, Procurement, and business stakeholders to automate and mature enterprise governance processes.

The ideal candidate combines deep Archer configuration expertise with strong business process knowledge to deliver scalable GRC solutions that improve operational efficiency, data quality, reporting, and executive decision-making.

This position plays a critical role in advancing the organization's enterprise risk management maturity by enabling integrated risk management capabilities across multiple programs.



  • Serve as the enterprise product owner for the Archer GRC platform, establishing the long-term technology roadmap, governance standards, architecture, and enhancement strategy supporting Enterprise Risk Management, Internal Audit, Compliance, Vendor Risk Management, Privacy, Information Security, and other governance functions.
  • Lead the design and implementation of scalable Archer solutions that automate governance, risk, compliance, audit, third-party risk, policy management, issue management, and regulatory compliance processes across the enterprise.
  • Identify opportunities to eliminate manual processes and transform governance workflows through automation, improving operational efficiency, data quality, reporting accuracy, and user experience.
  • Define and maintain Archer application architecture, data models, security models, workflows, questionnaires, record permissions, calculations, notifications, dashboards, and reporting standards to ensure scalability and long-term sustainability.
  • Design and oversee integrations between Archer and enterprise systems including ERP, HRIS, procurement platforms, identity management, ServiceNow, Oracle, APIs, data warehouses, and reporting solutions to create a unified governance ecosystem.
  • Serve as the organization's highest level Archer technical expert, providing architectural guidance, troubleshooting complex platform issues, mentoring technical resources, and advising project teams on solution design.
  • Partner with Archer, consulting firms, implementation partners, and third-party vendors to manage platform enhancements, licensing, support services, and strategic technology initiatives while maximizing return on investment.
  • Support regulatory exams, audits, and internal reviews, while contributing to strategic initiatives that advance TPM program maturity and scalability.


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Business Information Technology, Risk Management, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience configuring and administering the RSA Archer platform in a complex enterprise environment.
  • RSA Archer Certified Administrator and/or RSA Archer Certified Specialist certification.
  • Demonstrated experience leading the architecture, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of multiple Archer applications and solutions.
  • Experience serving as the technical lead or platform owner for an enterprise-wide GRC solution supporting multiple business functions.
  • Experience designing enterprise workflow automation, questionnaires, security models, data models, dashboards, reporting, and system integrations.
  • Experience leading complex cross-functional technology initiatives from business requirements through implementation and production support.
  • Experience integrating Archer with enterprise applications using APIs, data feeds, ETL processes, or middleware technologies.
  • Experience developing executive dashboards, analytics, and reporting to support risk-based decision making.
  • Experience working within highly regulated industries such as healthcare, health insurance, financial services, or other regulated environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior leadership, translate complex business requirements into technical solutions, and lead enterprise platform modernization initiatives.
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Power Automate, REST APIs, JSON, XML, and enterprise integration technologies.
  • Experience with cloud-based enterprise applications and SaaS platform administration.
  • Knowledge of enterprise application architecture, software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and change management practices.
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and project management skills while managing multiple enterprise initiatives simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing and delivering executivelevel reporting.
  • Strong business process analysis and workflow optimization skills.



Base Pay Information

The national base pay range at the end is a good-faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dental's assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity.
