Are you an organized HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being at the center of employee and recruiting processes? We are seeking a Temporary HR Coordinator to support a busy Human Resources team during a leave of absence coverage assignment. The leave is estimated to be 3-6 months and you would work on site at the client's offices Monday through Friday.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to expand their HR experience, sharpen their recruiting and onboarding skills, and gain hands-on exposure to a wide range of HR functions. You'll work closely with HR leaders, hiring managers, and employees to help create an exceptional employee experience from recruitment through onboarding and beyond.

What You'll Do

As a key member of the HR team, you'll support critical people operations, including:


Recruiting & Talent Acquisition Support

  • Create and post job requisitions
  • Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and candidates
  • Schedule phone, virtual, and on-site interviews
  • Manage interview logistics and candidate communications
  • Maintain recruiting documentation and applicant tracking records


Onboarding & New Hire Experience

  • Coordinate background checks and pre-employment activities
  • Prepare onboarding paperwork and welcome materials
  • Schedule and support new hire orientation programs
  • Partner with HR, hiring managers, and IT teams to ensure a seamless onboarding process
  • Assist with I-9 compliance and employment documentation


HRIS & Employee Records Management

  • Process employee transactions including new hires, transfers, promotions, compensation changes, and terminations
  • Maintain accurate employee information within HR systems
  • Verify approvals and supporting documentation for personnel actions
  • Audit employee records to ensure data integrity and compliance


HR Administrative Support

  • Prepare reports, presentations, and HR communications
  • Maintain electronic personnel files
  • Respond to routine employee inquiries
  • Assist with HR projects, audits, training initiatives, and process improvements
  • Provide support across multiple HR functions as needed


What We're Looking For
Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of HR, recruiting, administrative, or HR support experience
  • Experience with onboarding, recruiting coordination, HRIS systems, or employee records management
  • Associate degree preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered


Skills for Success

  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Professional communication and customer service skills
  • High level of discretion when handling confidential information
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms is a plus
