Location: North Little Rock, AR
Pay: $21 - $28 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM We're in search of a skilled Press Brake Operator with a background working in industrial manufacturing operations. Bring your skills and experience in the set-up, operation and maintenance of manual press brake machinery and equipment to this growing Little Rock , AR team! You'll bend, form, fabricate sheet metal and steel components used in heavy vehicle production. Your work ensures that parts are manufactured to engineering specifications, meet company quality standards and keep production schedules running on time! CORE DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set up and operate manual press brake equipment to bend, form, and fabricate sheet metal and steel
- Interpret blueprints, work orders, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine bend sequences and machine settings
- Select and install appropriate dies, punches, tooling, and fixtures based on production requirements
- Perform machine setup, tooling changes, and first-piece inspections prior to full production runs
- Measure completed parts using calipers, tape measures, squares, protractors, and other precision measuring tools
- Verify components meet dimensional tolerances and quality standards
- Adjust machine parameters, back gauges, and tooling configurations to ensure accurate forming operations
- Safely handle large, heavy, and awkward metal components using forklifts, cranes, hoists, and other material-handling equipment
- Inspect materials for defects and report quality concerns to supervisors or quality personnel
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and daily equipment inspections
- Troubleshoot machine, tooling, and production issues to minimize downtime
- Maintain accurate production, quality, and maintenance records
- Follow all company safety procedures, housekeeping requirements, and quality standards
- Work collaboratively with welders, fabricators, machinists, and production personnel to support manufacturing goals
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED required; related industrial machinery / equipment technical training or certifications desired
- Minimum Two (2) years of direct, hands-on experience working as a Press Brake Operator within an industrial manufacturing environment skilled in set-up, safe operation and maintenance of manual press brake machinery and equipment.
- CNC experience desired but not required
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work instructions
- Experience using precision measuring instruments
- Knowledge of metal fabrication processes and sheet metal forming techniques
- Basic math skills, including fractions, decimals, and geometry calculations
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and perform physically demanding work
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience operating large manual press brakes such as Cincinnati, Trumpf, Bystronic, Amada, Accurpress, LVD, Durma or similar equipment
- Experience manufacturing components for truck, trailer, transportation, agricultural, construction, or heavy equipment industries
- Forklift and overhead crane operation experience
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles
- Welding or fabrication experience

- Ability to maintain close tolerances and high-quality workmanship
- Understanding of press brake tooling and bend calculations
- Ability to read and understand manufacturing drawings and geometric dimensions
- Excellent attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Standing and walking for 8-10 hour shift
- Frequent bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting
- Ability to wear and perform work duties using required personal protective equipment (PPE)
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Industrial manufacturing facility with exposure to noise, dust, vibration, and varying temperatures working around fabrication, welding, machining, and assembly operations
- Overtime work may be required to meet production schedules
