Job Duties

• Safely operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts
• Pick cases and pallets for customer orders
• Load and unload trailers Move and stage products throughout the warehouse
• Follow warehouse and safety procedures
• Use a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to complete and track orders
• Read and follow work instructions and directions
• Verify products and quantities for accuracy
• Keep the warehouse and work areas clean and organized
• Perform other warehouse duties as needed

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehouse training or powered industrial truck training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• Previous experience operating both stand-up and sit-down forklifts
• Experience using RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), or inventory software is considered an asset.
• Experience loading and unloading trailers
• Ability to load, unload, move, stack, and organize palletized materials.
• Warehouse order fulfillment experience, including case picking and pallet picking
• Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and safe equipment operation.
• Ability to accurately identify inventory, shipping documentation, and storage locations.
• Strong attention to detail, dependable attendance, and commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to read and follow directions
• Basic math skills and ability to pass a simple math test
• Good attention to detail
• Reliable and able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and climb on and off powered industrial equipment throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, move, or reposition materials weighing up to 50 pounds when required.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts in busy warehouse and manufacturing environments.
• Ability to maintain awareness of surrounding personnel, equipment, and inventory while operating powered industrial vehicles.
