Retail Sales Associate

POSITION SUMMARY

The Retail Sales Associate for our Pro-Shop will be responsible for processing customer purchases, maintenance and promotion of all items for sale in the Pro-Shop and will provide expert customer service to our customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provides customer service and processes customer sales, including over the phone and the internet.

• Maintains and assists in maintaining weapons and parts inventory.
• Provides maintenance support and determines repair parts required for small arms and crew served weapons IAW approved procedures and policies.
• Uses technical manuals and technical bulletins to keep current with small arms repair needs for parts and maintenance of customers' weaponry.
• Remains current on all weapons training and government regulations regarding firearms sales and transfers.
• Fills all online orders.
• Operates cash register accurately and efficiently while following cash handling procedures.
• Reconciles daily cash drawers.
• Performs monthly inventory and cycle counts.
• Receives deliveries, unpacks and prices merchandise, and stocks shelves.
• Utilizes hand-truck or dolly to move merchandise as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum one year of experience in retail sales.
• Must have experience with MS Office and possess basic math skills.
• Effective oral and written communication skills with all levels of the organization. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and multiple priorities to completion.
• Problem solving skills with an analytical thought process.
• Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
