Forklift Operator

• Safely operate Reach PIT equipment, doubles, and rolling rack systems to move, store, relocate, stack, and inventory merchandise.
• Load, unload, stage, and transport products throughout the warehouse and distribution center.
• Pick, pull, and prepare customer orders while maintaining productivity and accuracy standards.
• Verify product counts and ensure accurate loading and shipment of merchandise.
• Move inventory from storage and staging areas into trailers for outbound distribution.
• Perform cycle counts, assist with physical inventories, and maintain proper stock rotation.
• Use RF scanners to ensure inventory accuracy and real-time tracking.
• Complete equipment inspection forms before operation and report safety concerns promptly.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and assist inventory control teams with resolution.
• Follow all company safety policies and warehouse operating procedures to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.

Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic computer skills required, including Microsoft Excel proficiency.
• Ability to accurately use RF scanners and warehouse inventory systems.
• Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and material handling best practices.

* Experience Requirements

• Required: Minimum 9 months of Reach PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) experience, including doubles and rolling racks experience.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, shipping, receiving, or inventory environment.
• Experience operating Reach PIT equipment, clamp forklifts, sit-down forklifts, and other material handling equipment preferred.
• Familiarity with order picking, cycle counting, inventory control, stock rotation, and shipping processes.
• Ability to perform pre-shift equipment inspections and maintain operational records.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand and walk for 10-12 hour shifts.
• Must be able to lift, pull, and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Frequent bending, stretching, reaching, and lifting above and below waist level.
• Ability to work throughout a large distribution center with extensive walking required.
• Comfortable working in varying temperatures, lighting conditions, and noise levels.
• Availability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as business needs require.
