Job Duties Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, transport, and store products throughout the warehouse. Load and unload trailers while ensuring product integrity and efficient material flow. Transport materials to designated storage locations, including high-density racking areas. Use RF scanners and WMS systems to track inventory, scan products, and print labels. Ensure inventory accuracy through proper product handling and location management. Follow FIFO (First-In, First-Out) inventory procedures and warehouse best practices. Assist with warehouse organization, product rotation, and inventory control activities. Conduct daily forklift inspections and report equipment issues or safety concerns. Maintain compliance with safety standards, SQFI requirements, and FDA regulations. Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards. Work closely with warehouse team members to meet shipping, receiving, and productivity goals. Education Requirements High School Diploma or GED preferred. Basic computer skills required. Ability to use inventory tracking systems, RF scanners, and warehouse management systems (WMS). Experience Requirements Minimum 2 years of forklift operating experience required. Experience operating sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts in a warehouse or distribution environment. Experience loading and unloading trailers using forklifts, slip sheets, or push/pull attachments preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety. Ability to obtain or maintain a forklift certification/license. Physical Capabilities Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and operate equipment throughout the shift. Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse with heavy pedestrian traffic. Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures and conditions.
