The Fabricator is responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and inspection of sheet metal components in a manufacturing environment while consistently demonstrating our partner's Core Values. Job Duties Fabricate, assemble, and inspect sheet metal components to meet production and quality standards. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, labels, and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication. Utilize fabrication machinery, hand tools, and shop equipment to produce precision components. Measure and inspect finished products to verify quality, tolerances, and design requirements. Develop sketches, perform shop calculations, and select appropriate materials for each project. Complete production paperwork and documentation accurately and on time. Follow proper setup, sequencing, and fabrication methods to maximize efficiency and quality. Collaborate with supervisors and team members to achieve production goals while maintaining a safe work environment. Education Requirements High School Diploma or GED required. Technical or vocational training in fabrication, metalworking, or manufacturing is a plus. Basic understanding of HVAC drawings and system designs preferred. Experience Requirements Minimum 2 years of sheet metal fabrication, manufacturing, or shop experience required. Experience reading blueprints, technical drawings, and fabrication specifications. Knowledge of fabrication equipment, measuring tools, and quality inspection processes. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety and quality standards. Physical Capabilities Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted and over 100 lbs. with assistance or lifting equipment. Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, push, and pull throughout the shift. Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with varying seasonal temperatures.
